Major Prasanna Perera is a retired Regular Force Sri Lankan Army Officer, who had undergone, local and abroad Military training pertaining to Modern Warfare, Conventional and Guerilla Warfare and he carried out operational and Internal Security duties in exigencies in various parts of the island.
He is an alma mater of University of Colombo.

Lion.Sensei Jayasinghe Bandara obtained the Bachelor of Art degree and Master of Art degree from University of Peradeniya. Later he was employed in various firms in private sector and he has more than 15 years of service and experience in human resources management, administration etc.
He has also been the Official Karate Coach for Sri Lanka Army since 1993 and trained many Army personnel in Martial Arts and Self Defence. He specially trained, Officer Cadets at Sri Lanka Military Academy Diyatalawa, Physical Instructors at Army Physical Training School,Panagoda, Military Police Personnel at Army Military Police Headquarters ,Narahenpita and Commando troops at Ganemulla Army Camp. Lion. Captain. Shehan Perera joined the Sri Lanka Army in 1995 as an Officer Cadet and received his basic training at Sri Lanka military Academy Diyatalawa. Having successfully completed his training he was commissioned as a second Lieutenant in Gajaba Regiment, which is a one of renowned Infantry Regiment of Sri Lanka Army and subsequently promoted to the rank of Captain.
He performed operational and Administrative duties in Sri Lanka Army in varied capacities especially in Northern part of the island. He also took part in many military offensive operations. Rivirasa, Jayasikuru and Sath Jaya are a few to name.
In recognition of his service rendered to the Sri Lanka Army he was honoured with following Medals.
He also had a brilliant School career and participated in International Scout Jamborees. He was able to earn president Scout Badge and Wood Badge at very younger age making a national record.
